Igloos are well-equipped and combine modern Nordic design with the best natural materials. Each Igloo is fitted with high-quality double beds. From your comfortable bed, you have a clear view of the sky, which takes admiring the northern lights and the stars on a whole new level!

In front of the large panoramic window, there are two comfortable designer armchairs and a table. At your table, you can admire the beauty and quiet of the surrounding forest while enjoying some hot drink, or a glass of bubbly. The atmospheric fireplace keeps the temperature of the igloo just right. Each Igloo has its own toilet, but no shower. During your visit, you can wash up in the Sauna in an authentic Lappish way.

Traditional Lappish food and local culinary delicacies

Sky Kota Restaurant & Bar, located in the village, offers enjoyable moments with foods and drinks made from local ingredients. Our professional chef has tailored a delicious menus for our guests, consisting of traditional Lappish food and culinary delicacies. We also offer hot and cold beverages, everything from juice made of local berries and fruits to wine and beer produced in Lapland.

Our restaurant exudes an authentic Lappish atmosphere. We offer pure flavours of Lapland and atmospheric dining moments by the open fire.

Ordering meals with igloo accommodation completes your perfect experience in the Finnish Lapland. Kota restaurant is open until late, offering our guests the possibility to get together. You can also order drinks to enjoy by the campfire or in your igloo.

Eco Destination

Skyfire Village is an ecotourism destination which operates in accordance with the principles of responsible tourism. It is a privilege to have nature surrounding us. Additionally, we use partners who share our values. The village is designed to be as emission-free and ecological as possible. Environmental friendliness has been observed in every stage of construction.

Skyfire Village is completely produced in Finland. The construction material of the village is Finnish wood which is a sustainably produced, renewable resource. Solar panels have been installed to every building for electricity production. The heating system is an economical and high-quality pellet fireplace which burns cleanly and produces minimal particle emissions. The fireplace also creates a lovely atmosphere. It automatically maintains the desired temperature, and it’s nice to spend time in its warmth. Each igloo is fitted with a compostable eco WC system.

In Skyfire Village, waste is recycled, and the amount of waste is minimized. The four-stroke-powered snowmobile we drive in winter uses lead-free gasoline.

We also encourage our guests to protect the enviroment with us.

Skyfire Village is located outside of growth centres and mass tourism areas, in a secluded location. Still, there is only a 45-minute drive from Rovaniemi Airport to the area.
